Starting the Blog
I found myself talking a lot about games online and to people I know IRL. Reading gaming blogs was the only reading I really liked to do. Knowing it was more of a passion than just a hobby, I decided to create this blog to catalog the times I’m not too busy to play games. It’s also an outlet to talk about games without bugging people that don’t share the love of gaming.
The plan is to treat the blog like a diary of play sessions I want to talk about. Sometimes it will be a mix of impressions, partial reviews and walkthroughs, but never just 1 thing.
Gaming History
As a child of the 80’s I’ve lived through the golden age of gaming. From the first pixels and polygons to VR and ray tracing. I’ve owned: Atari, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis/32X/CD, Turbo Graphx 16, Packard Bell PC (my first PC), Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and several flavors of gaming PCs.
I’m very much a PC gamer, but Nintendo has really nailed the fun factor with Wii and again now with the Switch. Don’t be surprised by the weird mix of PC and Switch games.
