Like a lot of gamers, I love my cats. Also like a lot of gamers, my cats love to lay anywhere they can to get in the way. That prompted me to look for a Desk Mounted Cat Bed. Not only did we find exactly that, now it’s my cat’s favorite place to nap.
Cats Love Laying in the Way

From the picture above, I captured a common problem for gamers with cats. There’s a nice comfortable spot right in front of the keyboard on my gaming desk and my cat Leo fell asleep there, a lot. Not only does it block my access to the keyboard, but it ends up leaving a ton of cat hair.
Vacuums and rags don’t do much to get the cat hair out. I successfully used a shower squeegee to get the hair quickly. Ironic, because it’s meant for glass shower doors, but was too horribly loud for that. My longer term solution was to find a Desk Mounted Cat Bed.
I’m glad my cat wants to hang around me, but he needed a more appropriate spot to nap. My wife actually found the perfect one for us.
Testing the Desk Mounted Cat Bed

Once we received the Desk Mounted Cat Bed, I tried it out above my gaming tower. It’s just a screw type clamp to secure it to the desk, then another screw to tighten the swivel. Super simple to install and move around as needed.
Leo, the desk sleeper, wanted no part of it, at first. I put our older cat Bella in there and she loved it. Both cats share an uneasy peace, so I knew her enjoying it would change Leo’s mind. Leo loves looking at the window on the other side of my desk, so I moved things around to fit it over there.

It wasn’t too long before Leo walked onto my desk, ready to lay in the way, then noticed the cat bed. After he investigated it a bit, he happily curled into it. Now it’s the number 1 nap spot. He can give me weird stares while I’m gaming or flip over to watch squirrels out the window.
All gamers with cats, just get a Desk Mounted Cat Bed. You, your desk, and cat, will appreciate it.
